A defined business diagnostic

See the whole business clearly before deciding what comes next.

When day-to-day pressure hides the real constraint, a G&G Business Review brings the evidence together, tests the assumptions and gives you a prioritised route forward.

Start with the pressure point

You should not have to make an important decision with partial information.

Owners often have plenty of information but no dependable way to see how sales, cash, operations, people and management decisions affect one another. Symptoms are treated in isolation, urgent work crowds out important work, and risk becomes harder to judge.

Performance has changed, but the reason is not yet clear.

Cash, sales, operations or people problems appear to be connected.

Leaders disagree about which issue should be addressed first.

A major decision is approaching without a shared evidence base.

Is this right for you?

Useful support starts with a clear fit.

This is designed for

A Business Review suits established SMEs facing several connected issues, preparing for a significant decision or needing an independent view before committing time, cash or leadership attention.

This may not be suitable when

It is not a statutory audit, formal valuation, legal due diligence, insolvency opinion or regulated financial review. Where specialist regulated advice is needed, that work must be provided by an appropriately qualified adviser.

What you receive

A defined outcome, not an open-ended advice exercise.

01

A structured view of the evidence across the agreed areas of the business.

02

The principal risks, constraints and opportunities ranked by importance.

03

A written action plan that distinguishes immediate action from longer-term work.

04

A findings presentation and discussion so the leadership team can question and use the recommendations.

A simple plan

Move from uncertainty to action in three clear steps.

Step 1

Listen and diagnose

Gather the evidence — agree the questions, collect the relevant information and hear the leadership perspective.

Step 2

Find the focus

Evaluate and connect — test the evidence, identify patterns and distinguish root causes from visible symptoms.

Step 3

Put the plan to work

Prioritise and present — explain the findings, agree the most valuable actions and set out what should happen next.

Before you commit

Know what the work is likely to involve.

What we need from you

The written scope defines the information required. This commonly includes management accounts, cash-flow information, sales and pipeline data, operational measures, organisational information, current plans and interviews with the people closest to the issues.

Typical timescale

Confirmed in the written scope

Pricing approach

The pressure-point consultation is free. A Business Review is a separate paid engagement; you receive a written scope covering inputs, analysis, deliverables, timescale and fee before deciding whether to proceed.

Questions before the first conversation

Clear answers, before you commit.

Is the Business Review free?

No. The initial pressure-point consultation is free. The Business Review is a separately scoped paid diagnostic, and no work begins until you approve the written scope and fee.

What will we receive?

The precise outputs are agreed in advance. They normally include documented findings, prioritised risks and opportunities, a practical action plan and a presentation or working session with the relevant leaders.

How is this different from an audit?

The review supports commercial decision-making and improvement; it is not a statutory audit or regulated assurance engagement. Any requirement for formal assurance is identified and referred appropriately.
